When was the auto insurance rebate granted?

The rebate was in effect from April 1 to June 30, 2020.

Who was eligible for the auto insurance rebate?

The rebate was granted to all active insureds who had personal or commercial auto insurance coverage.

What was the amount of the rebate?

The rebate was equal to 20% of the insured’s monthly premium from April 1 to June 30, 2020.

Did I get my rebate?

Yes. The rebate was automatically applied, so nothing was required of you. The payment method depended on how you pay your auto insurance premium.

Why do you no longer offer the rebate?

The purpose of the rebate was to compensate our insureds for the decrease in claims associated with the confinement.

However, since the month of June 2020, the Quebec government has allowed a gradual return to activities. As a result, road traffic has returned to near normal and the claims experience also.

Could I be entitled to a premium reduction if I am still working from home?

Since teleworking is the new normal for many insureds, vehicle use has changed. If your actual use has changed, please fill out the Change Your Annual Mileage form to inform us.

Can I use my personal vehicle for delivery?

Since July 1, 2020, we allow insureds to use their personal vehicle for delivery as long as they inform us that they are doing so.

If this is your situation, call us at 1-866-777-2886.

Informing us of this change in use is essential to be fully covered and avoid problems in the event of a claim.
