SSQ Financial Group takes part in the worldwide Earth Hour initiative
For the fourth year in a row, SSQ Financial Group is proudly joining the worldwide Earth Hour initiative to show its support for the fight against climate change.
On Saturday, March 28, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., SSQ Financial Group will turn off its lights and illuminated signs on the buildings it owns, in both Quebec and Ontario. Only emergency lights will remain on for the buildings located on Laurier Boulevard in Quebec City.
Every year, millions of people and thousands of organizations around the world take part in this World Wildlife Fund initiative to support the fight against climate change. By joining the movement with this simple gesture, SSQ Financial Group demonstrates its commitment to the environment. Moreover, the Group's comprehensive Sustainable Development and Societal Responsibility plan, which includes several actions and objectives in keeping with the fight against climate change, also supports this commitment.
