Until the migration of our platforms is complete, the SSQ Insurance Customer Centre remains your gateway to your insurance online. When the time comes, you will automatically be redirected to the Beneva website. Simply click Log in at the top of the screen and select Clients.

On January 1, 2023 Beneva becomes the insurer
Does this affect my contract?

On January 1, 2023, your P&C insurance policy underwritten by SSQ, Life Insurance Company Inc. and its renewal will be transferred to Beneva Insurance Company. But rest assured, no action is required on your part. You will continue to benefit from the same coverage and terms for your current contract, and your claims will be processed as usual. Until December 31, 2022, Beneva Insurance Company was known as La Capitale General Insurance Inc.
On January 1, 2023, La Capitale Civil Service Insurer Inc. and SSQ, Life Insurance Company Inc. are joining forces to become Beneva Inc., your new life and health insurer. But rest assured, this won’t change your coverage, claims, disability insurance or investments, and no action is required on your part.
This won’t change your investments or business relationship with your financial security advisor. No action is required on your part.
Does this affect my payments and deposits?
Pre-authorized payments or payroll deductions
The name on your statements will be Beneva Inc. Your pre-authorized debit agreement has been amended accordingly.
You hold group, life or health insurance or investment products with SSQ Life Insurance Company Inc. and signed a preauthorized payment agreement with the latter for the payment of your premiums: Beneva Inc. becomes the beneficiary of this agreement as of January 1, 2023 and your payments will continue without interruption unless you state otherwise.
You hold home, auto or commercial line insurance with SSQ Life Insurance Company Inc. and signed a preauthorized debit agreement with the latter for the payment of your premiums: Beneva Insurance Company becomes the beneficiary of this agreement as of January 1, 2023, and your payments will continue without interruption unless you state otherwise. Beneva Inc. was mandated to collect your premium payments.
Online payments
You will notice that the service provider(s) listed as payee(s) on your bank's website will change to Beneva.

Cheque payments
Cheques for your insurance premiums must be made payable to Beneva Inc.
