On January 1, 2023, La Capitale and SSQ Insurance became Beneva. This means that SSQ Insurance’s documentation and online platforms will gradually change to Beneva.
The first products to change to Beneva will be life and health insurance products. Savings and investment products will change later on. We will keep you up to date on the transition.

A new, user-friendly and simpler electronic application is on available for the following products:
- Term life insurance
- Permanent life insurance
- Critical illness insurance
- All riders
For simplified and guaranteed issue life insurance, SSQ Insurance’s electronic application remains available.
SSQ Insurance’s illustration software will change to Beneva, but the navigation will remain unchanged.
Marketing documents and forms are available in the Document Centre at beneva.ca. You don’t have to log in to access them.
In-force contracts remain unchanged.
