Challenge
IT Analyst reports to the Director of IT Service Centre and Integration. Your tasks are related to the second level contact with users of the company's IT services. You collaborate closely with the Service Centre and the various IT teams, as well as with the group in charge of IT inventory management and other different IT teams. You actively participate in projects, processes and operations related to your activity sector.

  • Resolve and document incidents and problems are handled by the Service Centre.

  • Develop or improve working methods, procedures and scripts in order to automate product upgrade operations and activities.

  • Plan and coordinate the installation of new versions of operating systems and applications. Create and update procedures for software deployment. Monitor deployments.

  • Resolve and document second-level incidents and problems handled by the Service Centre.

  • Manage work environments for users (login script, structure of directories, access groups, permissions, etc.).

  • Active participation in the documentation and management of the knowledge base.

  • Survey the market for new products and software under your responsibility.

  • Follow up on incidents with providers.

  • Assume full responsibility for all related and other responsibilities as requested by your superior.

Required skills and knowledge:
Education
  • A bachelor's degree in mathematics and computing, computer engineering or business computing.

Experience
  • Related experience of at least four (4) years in technical support.

  • Good customer service skills.

  • Good knowledge of the following software and environments:
    Operating system (Windows Server, Windows XP, Windows 7, etc.)
    Software implementation (SMS, WSUS, MDT, GPO, etc.)
    Virtualization (VMware, VDI, etc.)
    MS Office 2003/2010 (including Outlook for the link with the Exchange server)

  • Strong sense of responsibility and rigour.

  • Interest and aptitude for team work.

  • Strong written and verbal communications in French.

  • Good knowledge of written and verbal communications in English.
